Today we mixed a little science with art to create these beautiful sharpie coaster paintings! Students drew on the ceramic tiles with sharpies, then dripped rubbing alcohol on top to allow the colors to run and blend together. After the surface dried, some students decided to draw over the surface again with more defined images, text, and lines.
